He attended Elementary School in Erwin until the 6th Grade then graduated from Lake Preston High School with the Class of 1978. He then went on to attend Lake Area Vocational School for Agriculture graduating in 1979.
Wayne had many professions throughout his life. He hauled cattle for the Nelson’s, sprayed ditches for Kingsbury County. He also helped with Terry Andersen Construction and Odden Charolais Ranch.
