Violet (Rosacker) Graf, age 99, of Faribault, MN, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015, in Watertown, SD, after a brief stay in a care facility.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
Violet Dorothy Rosacker, daughter of Henry and Sena Rosacker, was born in Minneapolis on November 10, 1915.
She was a member of the classes of Edison High School ('33) and the University of Minnesota ('37). Mrs. Graf spent many years of her life as a volunteer for charitable and community causes in Minneapolis and Faribault. She married Richard Graf, her husband of 60 years, on June 17, 1937.
Surviving her are three daughters: Barbara (Edward) Meyer of Morristown, NJ, Mary (Randy) Reil of Watertown, SD, and Jane Graf (Richard Williamson) of Oakland, CA; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband; her son, Richard Graf Jr.; her parents; and her sister, Elizabeth McCarthy.
The family prefers memorials to St. Ann's Corporation (Benedictine Sisters) (benetplace.com) or Prairie Lakes Hospice (Prairielakes.com) both of Watertown, SD.
