Travis T. Kasuske, age 34, of Littleton, CO, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at his residence. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Rev. Janine Rew-Werling will officiate. Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the chapel.
Travis was born on December 25, 1989, in Yankton, SD, to Todd Kasuske and Jackie (Bratland) Flemming. Travis attended Watertown High School where he graduated from in 2008. Travis continued his education at Mitchell Tech and graduated in 2010 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree.
Travis was a hard worker who worked for many years at Applebee’s in Watertown and continued his work in the restaurant when he moved to Colorado. Travis later became self-employed as an Arborist. Travis could learn anything through watching YouTube videos. He could take on a job not knowing a thing about it, learn it, and do it well.
Travis had a love for animals especially his dogs Fluffy and Sasha. He took Sasha on many of his hiking and camping trips. She loved to go exploring the mountains of Colorado as much as he did. Even though they would get separated a lot, they always found their way back before too long.
Travis's spirit lead to him embracing a lifestyle filled with adventure and athleticism. He was a modern-day hippy, finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature and the thrill of exploration. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his passion for bringing people together.
Travis is survived by his parents, Todd (Rhonda) Kasuske, of Gayville, SD, and Jackie (Edwin) Flemming, of Florence, SD; one brother, Tyler (Chandler) Kasuske, of North Sioux City, SD; one sister, Samantha (Zak Kopf) Kasuske, of Pierce, NE; maternal grandparents, Judy (Wayne) Ronning, of Watertown, SD; Cal (Lori) Bratland, of Letcher, SD; and Shirley Flemming, of Wakonda, SD; paternal grandparents Ronald (Marilyn) Kasuske, of Watertown, SD; nephew, Reece; nieces, Finnley, Collins, Lauren; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Travis was preceded in death by Ralph and Benita Livingston and Vincent Flemming.
