Tracy A. Ducoff, age 36, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the local hospital. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. Father Richard Fox will be the celebrant. Music will be provided by Danielle Holmquist Holida as organist with the IC Choir singing. The Mass will be live-streamed via the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel Facebook page.
Visitation will be at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watertown on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Active pallbearers will be: Wayne Hojnacke, Dean Roe, Jeff Roe, Ryan Kundert, Matt Rudebusch, and Steve Rumpca.
Tracy was born on October 8, 1985, in Watertown to James “Jim” and Diane (Brandriet) Rumpca. She attended school in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School in 2004. On November 1, 2006, she got a second chance at life when she received a kidney from her brother, Paul.
On October 22, 2016, Tracy married Drew Ducoff in Watertown. She was employed at Walmart for nearly 20 years, most recently in the online grocery pickup department. Tracy had a kind and compassionate spirit, always putting others first. She adored her nieces and nephews, they were her world. She was an avid animal lover.
Tracy is survived by her husband, Drew Ducoff of Watertown; parents, James Rumpca and Diane Rumpca both of Watertown; sister, Jennifer (Jason) Sutton of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces and nephews: Maya, Hadley, Hudson and Anders Sutton, and Kade Bruns; and best friend, Tracy Rudebusch.
Tracy was preceded in death by her grandparents: Paul and Veronica Rumpca and Charles and Elizabeth Brandriet; brother, Paul Rumpca; uncles, Leon Brandriet, Calvin Larson, Urban Rumpca, and David Hojnacke; aunts: Marie Roe, Renee Brandriet, and Adaline Larson; and two cousins.
