Shirley Jane Gehr, age 78, of Watertown, SD, formerly Bull Head City, AZ, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Avantara Clark.
Shirley was born on July 4, 1945, in Hurley, SD, to Leverne and Hilda (Buus) Ihnen. She lived a long time in Bull Head City, AZ, and then moved to Watertown, SD and resided here.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Carla Rossow (Wade Urvig), of Watertown; three brothers, Duwane (Sharon) Ihnen, NE, Gary Ihnen, Merced, CA, Robert (Melissa) Ihnen, Marion, SD; six sisters, Verna (Randy) Mischka, Sioux Falls, SD, Cindy (Mark) Bailey, Watertown, SD, Betty (Jack) Reynolds, Redfield, SD, Sharon Petit, Sioux Falls, SD, Marlene Gross, Wakonda, SD, Diana Ihnen, Wakonda, SD; two grandchildren Danielle Kempiaski, Kayela Stulken; and seven great-grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Leverne and Hilda; sister, Mary Jensen; husband, Larry Gehr.
