Rocco Stark Obituary
Rocco Dylan Stark opened his angel wings and flew home to Jesus on March 22, 2019, with his Mommy and family by his side. He was the infant son of Brittany Sienkiewicz and the late Dylan Stark. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel with visitation prior to the service. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date. Rocco was born on August 4, 2018, in Rochester, MN, at the Eisenberg Building of the Mayo Clinic Campus.
He was immediately transferred to St Mary's Hospital where he lived his short 7 1/2 month life as a special little miracle, fighting so hard to get to a point for his kidney transplant.
He had just got on the transplant list. Little Rocco brought such joy to all that met him. Even with the countless surgeries, all the machines and the ups & downs each week, he fought so hard. He had his Mommy with him every day; bathing him, dressing him, talking to him, but most of all, giving him his kisses and cuddles. He loved her so much and it showed throughout his smiles.
His little grumpy face, his smiles and his coos will live on in all of his admirers. Everyone in his prayer circle was "Rootin' For Rocco", and his circle was very large.
He was truly a superhero. Living on to honor Rocco are his mommy, Brittany Sienkiewicz; his grandparents, Lori Bagniewski, Fountain City, WI, Brian Sienkiewicz (Pam Niziol), Punta Gorda, FL, and
Vicki Stark, Conde,SD; his great-grandmother, MaryAnn Sienkiewicz, Big Lake, MN; his great-grandparents, John and Jeanette Prax, Truth or Consequences, NM; his uncle, Tyler Stark, Mitchell, SD; his aunt, Mikaela Schulz (Gary Friewald) and his cousin, Elijah Lich, all from Conde, SD;
Brittany's special cousin, Nicole Banley;
and many more extended family, as well as each person who knew his story and were in his prayer circle. Waiting for him in heaven are his daddy, Dylan Stark; grandfather, Greg Stark; his uncle, Jeremy Murphy; special cousins, Breezy Soto and Cassandra Krueger; as well as many great grandparents and family.
