Naomi “Chelly” Michelle Sheppard age 59, of Arlington, SD passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, in her home in Arlington.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Schmidty’s Bar & Grill and Bowling Lanes on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All cards and contributions will be given to her daughter Chelsea.
“Chelly” was born in California in 1966. At the young age of seven, she moved to Arlington, South Dakota and attended school. She attended Arlington High School.
Shortly after starting high school, “Chelly” expanded her horizons and started her own life. She had four beautiful children and five grandchildren that she adored, cherished and loved more than anything. Her love didn’t stop there, having a tremendous care and love for any animal and always had a fur-baby in her home. She also enjoyed green,
lighthouses, and dragonflies. She enjoyed traveling to Oregon to see Chelsea, her husband, and granddaughter Lilly and to visit the beach.
“Chelly” is preceded in death by her father Johnny Leamons, Sarah Anne, Thomas Duane, Carmen and Amy, niece Tiana Jean, her brother John, and dog Abby.
“Chelly” is survived by her daughters, Brandi and Chelsea. Brother, David Leamons, sister Tonya McGraw, and mother, Bonnie Norgaard. Five grandchildren, many close friends, and three-fur babies are also left behind to keep her memory alive.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Crawford-Osthus/Johnson-Henry Funeral Chapel of Arlington.
