Michele R. Mack, age 74, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at a care facility in Sioux Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown, SD, at 1:30 p.m. Father Shaun Haggerty will be the celebrant.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD. A rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Watertown, SD. Pallbearers will be John Decker, Brian Robinson, Randy Middleton, Dave Hlavinka, Mike Moorhouse, and Mark Moorhouse.
Michele Mack was born on December 26, 1951, to Elmer and Vera (Rueschenberg) Woolven in Watertown, SD. She attended Harmony Hill and was a member of the graduating class of 1970.
On September 22, 1984, Michele married Roger Mack at the old IC Catholic Church in Watertown. Together, they raised two children, Tammy and Joe. Throughout her life, Michele worked at many different locations, and at the time of her death, she was employed as a custodian and kitchen helper at Jefferson Elementary School.
A woman of faith, Michele was a member of the Catholic Daughters at IC Church. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as completing word searches and, above all, spending time with her family. Her grandson, Hunter, was truly the light of her life.
Michele will be dearly missed by her husband, Roger Mack; her children, Tammy Bauman (and special friend Kevin Madlo) and Joe Mack; and her grandson, Hunter Mack. She is also survived by her sisters, Janeece Loiseau and Colleen Woolven, all of Watertown.
Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Vera Woolven; her brother, Morrie Woolven; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alma and James Mack.
