Lorraine was born on January 6, 1937, in Wegdahl, MN, to Arthur and Florence (Milbeck) Agre. She attended Montevideo High School and graduated in 1955. She started working as a secretary for Molde Electric.
On August 18, 1956, Lorraine married Lloyd Christians where they shared 67 years of marriage. She worked until her first child was born. After two more children were born, they relocated and moved the family to Watertown, SD in 1964. After raising her children, she worked at Herbergers for 22 years.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Lorraine looked forward to spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed having coffee and cookies when guests would visit, playing games and cards with the young and old. Her love was embroidery, which she shared many dishcloths and pillow cases with those she held dearest. She adored her Watertown family, and appreciated the closeness she had with Scott, (Debbie), Bonnie and Theresa. Even having her daughters living out of state, with the ever growing technology she was able to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up. Lorraine had a good heart and a kind sole. Family meant the world to her.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Lloyd, of Watertown; two daughters, Vicky (Eric) Aschow, Orangevale, CA, Tammy (Michael) Swanson, Citrus Heights, CA; one son, Scott (Bonnie) Christians, Watertown, SD; three sisters, Ardis Eekhoff, Montevideo, MN, Shirley Sachariason, Montevideo, MN, Beverly (Roger) Linnee, Gwynn, MI; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
