Linda Hart Obituary
Linda Hart, age 76, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Prairie Lakes Hospital. Family will have a private service in the coming spring.
Linda was born on October 24, 1949, in Watertown, SD, to Lyle O. and Dorothy M. (Underhill) Thompson. She attended Watertown schools and worked a few odd jobs; however, spent most of her life being a housewife.
On December 22, 1978, Linda married Leo Hart and was married for close to 47 years.
Linda enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her friends at the VFW.
Linda is survived by her husband, Leo, of Watertown; two daughters, Roseann Burley, Watertown, SD, Stacy Eisenbies, Watertown, SD; one son, John Burley, Watertown, SD; nine grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Debbie (Steve) Williams, Troy, AL, Roseann (Evan) Yochim, Hoffman, MN, Susan (Allen) York, Harrisburg, SD, Tammy Thompson, Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers, Ronald (Vivian) Thompson, Watertown, SD, and Charlie (Brenda) Thompson, Zumbrota, MN.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Dorothy Thompson, three brothers, “Dinky” Thompson, David Thompson and Jack Thompson.
