Les Maag Obituary
Les W. Maag, age 81, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at his residence. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown.
Les was born on October 17, 1935, in rural Watertown, SD, to Edward and Selma (Becking) Maag.
He is survived by his three children: Mike (Terri) Maag of Apple Valley, MN, Michele (Eric) LaRue of Eagle, NE, and Melissa (Dana) Nystrom of Burlington, IA; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his special friend, Margie Lambert; seven brothers and sisters: Evonne (Joe) Lesnar, Vince (Mary) Maag, Donald (Delores) Maag, Alice (Duane) Buer, Vic (Judy) Maag, Jerry (Lynn) Maag and Kim Maag; and nephew, Duane (Kim) Maag.
Les was preceded in death by one grandson, Josiah LaRue; his former wife, Dianne Maag; one brother, Darrel Maag; one sister, Patricia Sumner; and one brother-in-law, Larry Sumner.
