Leone was born on March 6, 1932, in rural Milbank, SD, to William and Louise (Kruger) Dragt.

On December 29, 1950, Leone married Lyle Egeberg at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank.

They were blessed with seven children.

Over the years, she worked as a telephone operator, a nurse's aide and a sales clerk.

On July 11, 1980, she married Merwin "Scotty" Scott at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Watertown, SD.

Throughout their 29 years of marriage, they enjoyed their 11 children and the addition of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Although Leone worked part-time jobs during their marriage, her greatest joy was making a home for Scotty and spending time with family and friends.

Their home was full of love and laughter and friends were always welcome. Leone was an active member of her church with LWML, Young at Heart and other activities within the church.

She will always be remembered for her sour cream raisin pie at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Leone was famous for her homemade buns and spaghetti and meatballs. She loved to read, crochet, sew and do crafts. Many family members and friends received afghans that she lovingly crocheted. Leone is survived by her children: Kathy (Ron) Drobeck of Tucson, AZ, Laurel Egeberg of Montrose, SD, LaWayne (Cindy) Egeberg of Hazen, ND, Jim (Nenette) Egeberg of Oak Park, IL, Julie DeVille of Watertown, SD, Kim (Rob) Kontz of Chamberlain, SD, Tami (Darin) Pesall of Webster, SD, Karla Comrie of Rapid City, SD, and Kerry (Audrey) Scott of Bryant, SD; 36 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
