Lawrence "Larry" Gatz Obituary
Lawrence "Larry" B. Gatz, age 89, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the local hospital. There are no services at this time.
Larry was born on February 28, 1936, in Marian, ND, to Prosper and Doris (Brewer) Gatz. He attended Ellendale High School.
On July 1, 1961, Larry married Kathleen Rodlund in Ellendale ND. They had two sons, Blain and Brian. They moved to Watertown in 1994 and Larry worked as a Heating-Air Condition Teach for 27 years before retiring.
Larry enjoyed going out to hunt and to fish, he also liked to collect coins in his spare time.
Larry is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of Watertown; his sons, Blain (Kendra) Gatz of Milbank SD, and Brian Gatz of Phoenix AZ; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Prosper and Doris, and his sister, Harriet Lien.
