Kelly J Reis

Kelly J Reis, age 38, of Watertown, SD passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Prairie Lakes Hospital. Memorial Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Rev. Lamar Whittemore will officiate.

Kelly was born on August 7, 1984, in Tacoma, WA, to Alvin and Julie (Ellis) Whisman.  She attended Watertown High School in South Dakota and worked at Taco Johns for many years.

On September 4, 2011, Kelly married Vance Reis in Watertown, SD.  The couple made their home in Watertown, where Kelly worked at Culvers and most recently at Little River City in Watertown.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her children.  Kelly was a very loving mom and person whom was loved by many.

Kelly is survived by her husband, Vance, of Watertown; one daughter Julia Reis, of Watertown; one son Tyler Reis, of Watertown; her mother, Julie Wishman, of Watertown, SD; maternal grandparents Jim (Sandi) Ellis of Rapid City, SD; one sister, Jennifer Whisman, of Watertown, SD; and one brother James (Sara) Whisman, of Kranzburg, SD.

Kelly was preceded in death by her father Alvin Whisman.
