Kathy was the middle child born to LeRoy and LaVonne Wolcott on September 21, 1955. She grew up on a farm in rural Watertown and attended the rural country school at Foley until it closed. Then she attended school in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School in 1973.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 4, 1970.
After graduation she devoted her full time to the ministry, sharing her Bible based hope of living forever on a paradise Earth with others. Her deep love for the truths from God’s Word enabled her to maintain her faith and trust in Jehovah God throughout her lifetime. She attended Pioneer Service School in 1992 to further her Bible knowledge and skill in the Ministry
After moving to Sioux Falls, she worked in various positions at Wellmark Blue Cross & Shield of SD for 25 years. She retired in September 2020 and moved back to Watertown to help care for her mother.
One of her greatest joys was spending time and taking trips with her grandson, brother and close friends.
Kathy will always be remembered as a very loving mother and grandmother to her surviving two sons, Nathan and Micah (Christina) Miller, and one grandson, Owen Miller, all of Watertown. She is also survived by her mother, LaVonne Wolcott; her brother, Steve (Laura) Wolcott, both of Watertown; 2 aunts, Mary Langendorfer and Joyce Wright; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
