Kathryn "Kathy" Keiser

Kathryn Keiser, age 66, of Hartford, SD, formally of Arlington passed away, Tuesday, February 17, 2025, at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 21, 2025, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Arlington.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be at a later date in the Arlington City Cemetery.

Kathryn Ann Larson (Kathy) was born October 31, 1958, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She attended high school in Los Altos, California.

Kathy married Ronald Urban of Sioux Falls on July 25, 1981. They share three daughters, Angel, Amber and Amanda.

On July 7, 2007, Kathy and Roy Keiser were united in marriage at Lake Poinsett. Together they enjoyed 16 years of marriage while living in Arlington, SD. They spent every available weekend at their campground located at Lake Herman in Madison, SD.

Kathy spent many years caring for children in her home-based daycare. After relocating to Arlington, she worked a few different part-time jobs until she eventually retired. Kathy loved being outdoors. She spent time gardening, planting flowers, hanging out by the pool, kayaking and fishing. She loved spending time at the campground with friends and family. One of Roy’s most prized possessions was his blue 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and Kathy loved going for rides with him with the convertible top down.

Kathy is survived by her children, Angel (Nate) Harry, Sioux Falls, Trisha (Shawn) Barron, Marion, Amber Urban, Sioux Falls, Amanda Urban, Sioux Falls; stepdaughter, Megan (Evan) Walterman, Rapid City; ten grandchildren; three step- grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother, Dottie Martinez; siblings, Jerry (Donna) Larson, Nancy Peterson, Dale (Vienna) Haak, Bill Haak; mother in law, Arlene Nelson; step mother in law, Donna Keiser; sister in law; Carla (Dale) Jakeway, Caryn Isaacson, Carol (Paul) Maycroft; brother in law; Roger (Val) Keiser; fur baby Rowdy, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kathy was preceded in death by, her husband, Roy Keiser; father, Gene Larson; cousins, Peggy Volden; Tony Weeg, and father-in-law, Johnny Keiser.
