Karen Wright Obituary
Karen Wright, age 67, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the local hospital. Family will be holding the memorial services at a later date.
Karen was born on August 1, 1958, in Hot Springs, SD, to Claude “Rusty” and Edna (Case) McAdam. She attended Hot Springs High School and graduated from Lake Area Technical College in 2001, with Associates in Accounting.
Karen worked in many customer service jobs over the years, owned her own cab company and worked her way up to Assistant Manager of the local Casey’s store.
Karen loved her grandchildren and getting to spend time with them. She enjoyed sewing and watching Disney shows and movies.
Karen is survived by her son, Aaron (Vanessa) McAdam of Watertown; daughter, Brandi Campbell of Watertown; mother, Edna McAdam of Hot Springs; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Bradley McAdam of Casper WY; sister, Susie Hamilton of Oelrichs, SD, and her significant other, David Campbell.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Claude “Rusty” McAdam and brother-in-law Randy Hamilton.
