Obituary
Joan E. Peters, age 78, of Florence, SD, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Living Waters Retreat Center at Lake Poinsett in Arlington, SD. Private family services will take place at a later date.
Joan was born on December 5, 1943, in Chicago Heights, IL, to Fred and Ruth (Wiers) Lardis. She married Martin Willi Hugo Peters on February 14, 1966.
Joan is survived by her children: Martin “Tony” (Lilibeth) Peters of Florence, SD, Randee (Mark) Lindahl of Chaska, MN, and Nathan (Roberta) Peters of Florence, SD; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; her parents; one brother, George; and her sister, Joyce.
