Jesus A. Lopez

Jesus A. Lopez, age 59, of Estelline, SD, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the local hospital in Watertown, SD.  Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Estelline, SD.  Pastor Darren Shaw will officiate.  

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Jesus Arnoldo Lopez Beltran (Quirri), Born March 9, 1969 passed away at the age of 55. Jesus resided in Estelline, SD, and worked for Berwald Farms for 24 years. He did most of the feeding on the farm, putting in over 47,000 hours in their 98’ model tractor. He was not a man of many words, but he sure loved his grandkids. He enjoyed spending time working on his trucks and watching the hunting channel. He loved having chickens and roosters. He was a great man who loved his time with his family and friends.

Dear Brother, our parents, brothers and sisters never had the chance to tell one another how much we loved you. We are thankful for all the moments that we lived together. We thank God that you were in our lives. Now we have to learn to live without you. It is hard to say good-bye, but you will always live in our hearts. Your family loves you. Love your sister Faviola.

Dad, you will be missed. We love you so much and you will never be forgotten.

Jesus is survived by his parents, Arnoldo Lopez Cruz, Edwiges Beltran Soto; his wife, Estella Lopez; his siblings, Nora Alicia Lopez Beltran, Alfredo Lopez Beltran, Oswaldo Lopez Beltran, Edgardo Lopez Beltran, Martin Alonso Lopez Beltran, Faviola Lopez Beltran; his children, Tina Higuera, Jesus Lopez, Hillary Schiley, Laura Lopez, Esmerelda Lopez; son-in-laws, Antonio Esparza, David Schiley, Mike Fokken, Tyler Monroy; daughter-in-law Ashley Rithmiller; Grandchildren, Ava Fokken, Bentley Fokken, Erich Fokken, Noah Fokken, Rhys Lopez, Arianna Schiley, Kolter Schiley, Renner Lopez, Reyna Lopez, Kohenn Konradi, Kayson Konradi, Javier Lopez, Stella Monroy, Camilo Monroy, and Mariana Esparza Lopez.
