James Meyer Obituary
James Steven Meyer, age 72, of Osceola, WI passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
James “Jim” was born March 12, 1952 in Watertown, South Dakota to parents William and Joanita (Schmitt) Meyer. He graduated high school from Watertown High School in 1970 and shortly after, joined the Army where he served 3 years. He moved to St. Croix Falls, WI following his time in the service and started his own business J and M Refrigeration, where he operated for over 20 years.
James is survived by siblings Tom (Ann), Ramona (Ron) Brekke, Michael (Judith), Terry, Greg (Eileen), and Roger (Julie); special friends Cindy McLane, Lisa Reardon, and Jay Reardon; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Michael.
Funeral service for Jim will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 12, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Osceola, WI. Burial to follow at St. Croix Falls Cemetery in St. Croix Falls, WI. Evening visitation the night before Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Grandstrand Funeral Home of Osceola, WI from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
