Jacqueline "Jackie" K. Froke

Jacqueline “Jackie” K. Froke, age 74, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Jenkins Living Center.  Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown.  Scott Dempster will officiate.  The family is requested to meet at the chapel on Tuesday by 10:30 a.m. for a prayer service.

Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be at Pleasant Lutheran Cemetery in rural Vienna. Honorary Urn bearers will be Nikki Buck, Madyson Richards, Cassi Paulson and Tehya Griffith, MarJoan Buck, Ellie and Ali Buck, Amber Marquardt, Abby and Annie Marquardt, Chelsea Griffith, Gunner, Josiah and Silas Griffith, Amber Negaard, Brynlee and Laiken Negaard, Claire Paulson, Kate Paulson, Edyn Griffith, Talon Griffith, Brigham Buck and Evelynn Buck. Active Urn bearers will be Tylor Griffith, Eric Negaard, Scott Marquardt, Wade Buck, Brenton Griffith, Bret Buck, Riley Buck, Cody Buck, Brady Buck and Dustin Paulson.

Jackie was born on January 12, 1949, in Watertown, SD, to Orlin and Arvella (Seim) Froke. She graduated from Hazel High School in 1967. Jackie worked as a nanny to many local families. Jackie worked as the town clerk for Vienna for over 30 years. She then worked at Dacotah Bank in Vienna, until becoming the bookkeeper at the elevator in Vienna for 17 years.  She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran in Vienna for many years.  She loved crocheting, watching western movies and reading.  Jackie loved her cats, gardening and flowers.  She cared for her mother for many years before her passing.

Jackie is survived by one brother Rick (Denise) Froke of Watertown, SD; and one sister, Rozann Buck of Vienna, SD, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Orlin and Arvella Froke, brother in law, Larry Buck, and grandparents.
