Gustavo "Gus/Toby" Rodriguez Obituary
Gustavo “Gus/Toby” Rodriguez, age 60, passed away on December 20, 2024. Born on May 16, 1964, Gustavo was the beloved son of Jesús Victor Rodriguez and Rosalinda Rodriguez.
He is survived by his parents, Jesús Victor Rodriguez and Rosalinda Rodriguez; brothers, Jesús Rodriguez Jr. and Jaime Rodriguez (Adela); sister, Virginia Tonche (Domingo); and his children, Cynthia Lowry (Gregory) and Maddie Windland.
In 2008, Gustavo moved to Watertown, South Dakota, where he worked at Jenkins Living Center. He shared many happy years with his longtime girlfriend, Linda Slominski, and their three dogs, who brought him joy and companionship.
In accordance with Gustavo’s wishes, there will be no formal family memorial. He will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread at the nearest lake to honor his memory. Family members wishing to share his ashes are welcome to do so privately.
Gustavo will be remembered for his love of fishing and the outdoors, which brought him peace and joy throughout his life.
