Eunice Lorraine Meyer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on October 20, 1934, in Swedes Forest Township, Redwood County, Minnesota, Eunice was the cherished daughter of Roy and Helen (Sampson) Huseby.
She was baptized, confirmed, and later married at Rock Dell Lutheran Church in Swedes Forest Township—a church that remained central to her faith throughout her life.
Eunice attended school in Belview, Minnesota, and graduated in 1952 from Bethany Lutheran Academy in Mankato, Minnesota. On February 14, 1953, she married the love of her life, Arthur John Meyer, Jr. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to love and commitment, lasting 57 years until Arthur’s passing on September 15, 2010.
Together, they raised six children: Bradley (Nancy) Meyer, Brian (Kathy) Meyer, Beth (Tim) Wiechmann, Arthur (Carrie) Meyer III, William (Lynn) Meyer, and Christopher Meyer. Eunice devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, building a home centered on faith, warmth, and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur John Meyer, Jr.; her parents, Roy and Helen Huseby; her sons, Bradley and Christopher; her brother, Roger Huseby; and her sister, Dorothy Hein.
She is survived by her children, 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Eunice was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in South Shore and was active in Ladies’ Aid. She kept busy with a variety of part time jobs and volunteering after the kids left. Eunice loved dancing with Art, gardening and traveling.
A memorial service will be held on August 16, 2025, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. led by the family. Friends and family are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Eunice’s life.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Eunice’s legacy of love, quiet strength, and steadfast faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
