Donald Piorkowski Obituary
Donald R. Piorkowski, age 71, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the local hospital.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
Donald was born on July 27, 1952, in Stamford, CT, to Eugene and Stella (Skiba) Piorkowski. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1970. In 1984, Donald moved to South Dakota where he worked various jobs. He worked in the kitchen as a prep cook. Donald moved to Meadow Lake Assisted Living in 2020 and later moved to Jenkins in October of 2023. He loved crocheting blankets to give to all his loved ones and friends, playing cards, doing puzzles, and reading books. Donald was a sweet man who was nice to everyone and always as helpful as he could be.
Donald is survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Donald was preceded in death his parents; his brothers, Thomas and Eugene Piorkowski; and his sister, Sandra Giedyear.
