David Willett Jr. Obituary

David James Willett Jr., age 58, of Watertown, SD, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2026, at the local hospital.  A celebration of life is pending at this time in Texas.

David was born on July 8, 1967, in Alexandria, LA.  He graduated from Hallsville High School in 1987.  David pursued a variety of jobs with the majority of his career being in retail. 

David was an exceptional artist, he loved music, and he was a big fan of wrestling.  He loved Nascar with his favorite driver being #24, Jeff Gordon.  He enjoyed playing video games, watching horror movies along with the Three Stooges.  He also loved interacting with RC cars as well.  David was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed with the Atlanta Brave's MLB team. 

David is survived by his partner, Stacey Eisenbise and her children of Watertown, SD; three sons, Dalton (Lacey) Willett, of Haworth, OK, David Willett and Matthew Willett, both from Hallsville, TX; one daughter, Alyssa Legan, of New London, TX; his father, David Willett Sr., of Longview, TX; his mother, JoAnn (Donald) Latham, of Dodson, LA; three brothers, Mark (Misty) Willett, of Longview, TX, Gerald (Kristy) Willett, of Henderson, TX, and James (Barbie) Willett, of Watertown, SD; three grandchildren, Brielle Leighton, Hudson Leighton, and Ezra Woody, of New London, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Flossy Willett, of MO, and Alford and Ruby Bazar, of Verda, LA; five uncles, Eugene Willet, of Houston, TX, Charlie Bazar, of Atlanta, LA, Kenneth Bazar, of Atlanta, LA, Roy Deas, of Dudson, LA, and Elwin Duncan, of Longview, TX; one nephew, Todd Duncanof, of Longview, TX, and one niece, Sharon Deas, of Dudson, LA.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.  We would like to say a special thank you to all of the professional staff who supported his family during the difficult time of our loved one.  Also, we want to express gratitude to Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel for all your love, kindness, and support of our loved one during this difficulty time in our lives.
