It is with our deepest sorrow that we share with you the passing of our loved one, Dale Stark, age 69, of Soap Lake, WA. He passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Confluence Hospital in Wenatchee, WA, from complications of COVID-19. A celebration of life will be scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on August 14, 2021 at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Home and virtually for those that cannot attend. www.crawfordosthus.com Dale was born July 7, 1951, at Watertown, SD to Lloyd and Dolores (Kannas) Stark. He grew up on the family farm. He attended Watertown High School and Lake Area Vocational School. Dale was a cross-country truck driver for 44 years traveling the entire U.S. and much of Canada in his semi. He also spent 3 years in Iraq driving truck as a Military Contractor working closely with the Marines and Special Forces, for which he was awarded special recognition from both branches of the service. In his retirement, Dale loved participating in competitive lawnmower races, camping, fishing, carpentry, and welding. He took great pride in his Silverado pick-up truck. Dale was rarely without his dog, Deputy, by his side. Dale enjoyed life to the fullest! Dale is survived by his wife Deirdre, Daughters: Tina Stark, Winona TX and Melissa Stark, Britton, SD;
Sons: Dale Stark Jr, Jeramy Stark (Brandi) and Joe Stark (Kari), Britton SD; and Jacob Stark, Springfield SD; and step-children Curtis Gay and Christina Smith (Nolan) of Washington. Dale is also survived by brothers Roger (Audrey) Stark, Donnie (Dorie) Stark and Allen (Dianne) Stark. Sisters: Vergene (Rich) Comes, Joyce (Jim) Comes, Debbie Smith, and Patricia Hanson; 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, brother Merle, and daughter Shaila Jean Canoot.
