Obituary

Christopher (Chris) J. Ingalls, age 36, of Watertown, SD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Sanford USD Medical Center.  Arrangements are pending.

Chris was born on September 27, 1985, to Rhonda Henman (Hintz) and Roger Ingalls in Watertown, SD.  He attended school in Watertown.  In 2003, he moved to Exeter, NE, to build grain bins with his dad, eventually moving back to Watertown to be with family. Chris was kind, compassionate, incredibly humorous and loved his family, adoring his niece and nephews. He was a passionate animal lover, and had a great love for music. He was an impeccable, self-taught skateboarder and guitar player. His faith was very important to him. 

Chris is survived by his father, Roger (Shela Smith) Ingalls, of Fairmont, NE; his sisters: Amy (Jason) Bleeker, Heather Ingalls, and Blake (Kevin Burkhart) Bendel, all from Watertown; niece and nephews: Brandon Harms, Christian Hall, Jasmine Hall, Logan, Owen and Layne Burkhart; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best friend, Kitty.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda Henman; grandparents: Dennis and Nancy Hintz, and Russell Ingalls; step-dad, Dan Bendel; and his beloved dog, Baby girl.
