Carroll B Hansen

Carroll Hansen, age 89, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Avantara Clark. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel. Pastor Steve Biswell will officiate.

Burial will be at the Revillo Cemetery in Revillo, SD.

Carroll was born on April 12, 1934, to Bert and Frieda (Nelsen) Hansen, in Kennard, NE. He was a 1951 graduate of Kennard High School. He then ran a service station in Kennard. After moving to Watertown, Carroll sold insurance. While in Watertown, he met and married Pat Haugen. They moved to Lake Preston where they owned and operated Pat & Carroll’s Supper Club for many years.  After retiring they moved back to Watertown. Pat passed away in 2009. Carroll then met Janet Brown. They were married and made their home in Watertown. Carroll sold advertising products for Kaeser/Blair during his retirement years. Carroll loved all of his days of golfing with his buddies. Also, loved playing cards, especially cribbage.

Carroll is survived by his wife, Janet; his children: Curtis Hansen, Kristi Manley, Debra Galley, Russ Hansen and Randy Hansen; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Leo (Janet) Hansen.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his son, Barry; his parents; and his sister, Donna Lee; grandson, Drew Hansen.
