Carol Becking Obituary
Carol J. Becking, age 75, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at the local hospital. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. Father Shaun Haggerty will be the celebrant.
Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral starting at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, SD in Watertown. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Lindner, Jeff Wensing, Ronnie Maag, Leon Hackbart, Wayne Becking, and Lonnie Becking.
Carol was born on May 5, 1949, in Fort Pierre, SD, to Joe and Harriet (Birdsteg) Becking. She attended Valley View Country School and graduated from Watertown High School.
Carol worked at Jenkins Living Center her whole life since the age of 19. She was active in the bowling league and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Carol was in the Immaculate Conception Church Choir for several years.
Carol is survived by her brother, Ralph Becking; sister Karen (Bill) Donahue; and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and four sisters.
