With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Campbell of Watertown, SD, formally of South Bend, IN, who departed this life on March 18, 2025. He now joins his beloved grandson, Stephen Campbell, his loving parents, and the mother of his first child, Patricia A. Bradley, in eternal rest.
Bobby leaves behind his daughter, Barbara Campbell, and his eight cherished siblings: LV Michael, Annette Rofe, Joann Savage, Robert Campbell, Alice Campbell, Johnny Mack Campbell, Ruby Campbell, Nellie Chew, and Georgia Mae Stokes. A man of warmth and generosity, Bobby was deeply devoted to his family. He found joy in bringing loved ones together, whether through playing cards, sharing laughter, cooking meals, or organizing reunions and celebrations. His love for family was evident in everything he did, and his presence brought happiness to all who knew him. His granddaughter Timisha will especially miss his playful spirit and the way he always found a way to “cheat” her in cards, bringing laughter and fun to every game.
Though we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul, we find solace in the beautiful memories he left behind. His legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Bobby Campbell will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
