Beverly was born on April 1, 1939, in Hayti, SD, to Rudolph and Victoria (Berg) Olson. Beverly graduated from Hayti High School in 1958. She held one job early in her married life working outside the home. She worked at Woolworths working at the lunch counter before becoming the floor supervisor. She was a stay-at-home mother for the rest of her years.
On April 9, 1960, Beverly married William (Chuck) Linneman. The couple moved to El Paso, TX, while Chuck was serving in the military. They then moved to Worthington, MN, after the birth of their first son, Alan. Later on, the family moved to a farm in Lake Norden, SD, then Estelline, SD, after the birth of their second son Brian, before moving to Watertown, SD, in 1969.
Beverly kept an impeccable clean house. She was exceptionally talented at baking goodies and treats for all to enjoy, and really prided herself in her baked goods. She loved going to rummage sales in Watertown looking for treasures while conversing with all the different people in town. She especially loved summertime sitting on her patio enjoying the weather and the beautiful flowers she planted in her planters.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Chuck; two sons, Al (Julie) Linneman, and Brian (Lisa) Linneman; her grandchildren, Morgan (Garrett) Folchert, Alex (Julia) Linneman; and one sister, Lou (Wally) Abbott.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Rosella “Blondie” (Ralph) Mitchell, Loraine (Kenny) Stemwedel, Mack Olson, Ardel (Jerry) Dede, Quentin (Velda) Olson, Donna (Dale) Bradshaw, Lloyd Olson, Ray Olson, and Judy (Roger) Brekke.
