Audrey Harding Obituary
Audrey J. Harding, age 92, of Lake Norden, SD, formerly of Watertown, SD, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Avantara Lake Norden. Private family graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Audrey was born on October 30, 1927, to George and Martha (Grensberg) Nogelmeier, in Vienna, SD. She was united in marriage to Warren Harding on October 30, 1944 in Watertown. They lived on a farm near Elrod. They made their home in Watertown where they raised their family. Audrey and Warren moved to California where they lived for many years. After Warren retired they moved back to Watertown. Warren preceded Audrey in death on June 3, 2012. Audrey has spent her last ten years at Avantara Lake Norden, where she was very loved and cared for amazingly. Her hobbies included crocheting.
Audrey is survived by her three grandchildren: Jon (Jennifer) Goalen of Brea, CA, Julie Morrell of San Diego, CA and Jodi Patterson of Cibolo, TX; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold (Lucy) Nogelmeier of Watertown, SD; and one nephew, Larry (Vickie) Dreher of Clark, SD.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one daughter, Carol Hays; and one son, Warren Harding, Jr.
