Arnold C. Dornbusch Jr.

Arnold C. Dornbusch Jr., age 65, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at his residence.  A celebration of life service will be from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2024, at the Salvation Army in Watertown, SD.

Arnold was born on January 6, 1959, in Brookings, SD, to Arnold and Lois (Konshak) Dornbusch Sr.  During his early childhood he lived in Colorado and then moved to Watertown where he graduated from the Watertown High School in 1978. 

Arnold stayed around the Watertown area working at various jobs throughout his life.  On August 4, 2001, Arnold married Pamala Austin Waldner in Watertown, SD. 

Arnold was one of a kind, he loved playing Santa Claus, hunting, fishing, and his grandchildren were his life. 

Arnold is survived by his wife, Pamala, of Watertown; his children, Christopher (Marea) Waldner, of Stockholm, SD, Emily Wiekamp, of Plankinton, SD, Matt (Dalina) Miller, of Hayti, SD, William (Mary) Flogstad, of Lincoln, NE, Arnold Dornbusch III, of Watertown, Sarah Jo Waldner, of Florence, SD, and James Dornbusch, of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Joey Waldner, Sandler Wiekamp, Jaxton Waldner, Emily Flogstad, Anthony Flogstad, Ryth Hanson, and Jones Waldner; great-granddaughter Aiyana Waldner; brothers, David (Louise) Dornbusch, of Fredrick, WI, and Martin (Nancy) Dornbusch, of Watertown; sisters, Donna (Scott) Gilbert, of AZ, and Karri (David) Miller, of Watertown.  

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Carla Dornbusch; and one brother Michael Dornbusch.
