Stephen Olson Jr.

Stephen Olson, Jr., age 37, of Webster, SD, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Ava's Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD, after a courageous battle with Huntington's disease. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at United Methodist Church in Webster, SD. Pastor John Hisel will officiate. Music will be provided by Mary Bloom as organist with Nicci Bloom as soloist. The family is requested to meet at the church on Wednesday by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. Visitation will be at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday, prior to the service. Burial will be at Webster City Cemetery in Webster. Honorary urn bearers will be Stephen's paintball buddies. Active urn bearers will be Stephen's daughters, Kylie and Macie. Stephen was born on August 6, 1981, in Watertown, SD, to Stephen and Ann (Mohr) Olson. He attended school in Webster and at the age of 16 began working at Dakota Poultry. Stephen worked at Dakota Tube in Watertown, SD, and eventually transferred to Webster where he worked until 2009 when his illness forced him to resign. On September 25, 2004, Stephen married Nancy Eisenbraun at St. John's Lutheran Church in Webster, SD. The couple made their home in Webster, and to this union, two children were born, Kylie and Macie. Stephen was an avid video gamer and shared this great past time with his daughters. His daughters will always remember his four-wheeler rides and his love for snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and camping.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Nancy Olson of Webster, SD; their two daughters, Kylie and Macie Olson; father, Stephen Olson, Sr. of Watertown, SD; sister, Patty (Ryan) Thorson of Florence, SD; nieces: Kristi (Daniel) Solorzano of Sioux Falls, SD, Ashley Eisenbraun of Webster, SD, Brooke (Javen) Moe of Watertown, SD; nephews: Brandon (Kelly) Eisenbraun and Austin Eisenbraun of Webster, SD, Shawn and Evan Thorson of Florence, SD, and Jayson and Zach Dufek of Castlewood, SD; mother in-law, Helene Eisenbraun; sisters-in-law: Patty Eisenbraun of Sioux Falls, SD, Vicki Coin of Webster, SD, and Sandi Eisenbraun of Webster, SD; and brothers-in-law, Jay (LeeAnne) Dufek of Castlewood, SD, and Tim Eisenbraun of Webster, SD. Stephen is preceded in death by his mother, Ann; his grandma, Lillian; his sister, Michelle Dufek; father in-law, Martin Eisenbraun; brothers in-law, Mike Eisenbraun and Edward Coin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
