Ronald Pinckney Obituary
Ronald G. Pinckney, age 65, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, at a care center in Watertown.
Memorial services will be held in New York at a later date.
Burial will be at Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
Arrangements are being handled by the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel of Watertown, SD.
Ronald was born on December 21, 1951, in Middletown, NY, to Richard and Helen (Holman) Pinckney. On June 23, 1973, Ronald married Diane DiBella in Newburgh, NY. Together they have one son. Following his graduation from high school, Ronald graduated from the Philadelphia College of Bible in 1985. Later, he graduated from North American Baptist Seminary in 1991. Ronald went on to serve as a minister in Ipswich and Madison, SD, and later in Fredericksburg, IA. This was his last assigned church.
He was a member of New Life Evangelical Free Church in Watertown. Ronald enjoyed reading, model trains and fishing.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Diane, of Watertown; one son, Joshua Pinckney, of Sioux Falls, SD; and two brothers, Richard (Caroline) Pinckney of Pinebush, NY, and Robert (Donna) Pinckney, of Pleasant Lake, NY.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
