Eleanor Opp Obituary
Eleanor E. Opp, age 85, of Watertown, SD, formerly Groton, SD, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at a local care center.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Eleanor was born on November 11, 1933, in Campbell County to George and Frieda (Zimmerman) Biel.
In August of 1960, she married Edward Opp in Pierre, SD. Eleanor is survived by her children: Gregory (Beverly Frohling) Buechler of Clark, SD, Nancy (Clark Craig) Hoops of Watertown, SD, Jeannie (Greg) Clocksene of Groton, SD, Randy (Penny) Buechler of Hillsboro, OR, and Brenda (Daniel) Facinelli of Faulkton, SD; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and three sisters: Virginia Vestal and Dee Vestal both of TX, and Myra Keller of Deadwood, SD. Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; her daughter, Jody; one brother, Terry Biel; and one grandson, Alan.
