Dylan Stark Obituary
Dylan Matthew Stark, age 26, of Fountain City, WI, formerly of Conde, SD, passed away as a result of a rollover car accident on May 14, 2018, near Miller, SD. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Steve Biswell will officiate. The family is requested to meet at the chapel by 10:00 a.m. for a family prayer service.
Visitation will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel and prior to services at the chapel on Saturday.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown. Honorary pallbearers will be the Doland Class of 2010 and Dylan's Godparents, Debra Krueger and Dale Nei. Active pallbearers will be: Tyler Stark, Mikaela Schulz, Gary Freiwald, Patrick Murphy, Shane Krueger and Kyle Cuppy.
Dylan was born on April 14, 1992, to Greg and Vicki (Murphy) Stark in Hastings, MN. The family lived there until 2000, when they moved to Conde, SD. He graduated in 2010 from Doland High School. Dylan's love of music started at an early age. He played drums for the pep band in school and then started playing the guitar. He continued playing the guitar and tinkering with other instruments such as the violin, the mandolin and the piano. There wasn't an instrument that he couldn't play and most of it was all "by ear."
In June of 2013, Dylan met the love of his life, his best friend and soulmate, Brittany. They have adventured together wherever the wind took them. They are expecting a baby boy in the fall and he was so excited to be a great dad...and to share the experience with Brittany.
Dylan loved to be near water, whether a lake, creek or river. If he was fishing and camping, he was happy. He loved to hunt as well. Anything to do with the outdoors, Dylan was the guy. He had a sense of humor only a select few got to witness. His wittiness and the ways he viewed different things marveled most of us. Dylan flew his own flag, doing what he wanted, living his life to the fullest. He will be truly missed.
Dylan is survived by Brittany Sienkiewicz, his love; his parents, Greg and Vicki Stark, of Conde, SD; one sister, Mikaela Schulz (Gary Freiwald), of Conde, SD; one brother, Tyler Stark, of Mitchell, SD; one nephew, Elijah; Brittany's mother and Dylan's "other mother", Lori Bagniewski; Brittany's father, Brian Sienkiewicz; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dylan was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy; his grandparents, Patricia Murphy, Harold and Arlene Murphy and George and Lillian Stark; and his special aunt, Gwen Stark.
