Debra Reiser

Debra S. Reiser, age 64, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at her residence. She was the widow of Norman Reiser. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel. Pastor Steve Biswell will officiate. The family is requested to meet by 1:30 p.m. at the chapel for a family prayer service. Visitation will be at the chapel prior to the service. Debra was born on May 18, 1954, to Clarence and JoAnn (Simeon) Fast, in Le Mars, IA. She was a 1972 graduate of Sioux Valley High School in Volga, SD. On January 31, 1980, Debra was united in marriage to Norman Reiser. The couple moved to Pasadena, TX and later to Dayton, TX, where she worked for many years as a CNA. They moved to Brookings, SD in June of 1993. Debra worked as a CNA at the United Retirement Center in Brookings for 17 years before retiring. After Norman passed away on March 3, 2017, she moved with her children to Watertown. Debra was a very dedicated and hard worker. She enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Debra is survived by her children: Jennifer Shultz and Rebecca Reiser, both of Watertown, SD, and Darcy Reiser of Volga, SD; her mother, JoAnn Fast of Brookings, SD; four grandchildren: Scott, Austin, Kortney and Hailee; and three sisters: Patty Jepsen, Brenda Reiser and Leslie Fast, all of Brookings, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her father, Clarence; one brother, Craig; and one sister, Lisa.
