Elaine Lehna Obituary
Elaine Lenore Lehna, age 80, of Crocker, SD, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. She was the widow of Bernard Lehna. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Watertown. Rev. Iver Possehl will officiate. The family is requested to meet by 12:30 p.m. on Monday at the church for a family prayer service.
Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to services. Arrangements are being handled by the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD.
Burial will be at Prairie Hill Cemetery in Bradley, SD. Honorary pallbearers will be: Sue Lehna, Matthew Lehna, Brooke Lehna, Stephanie Power, Linsy Holst and Greg Blair. Active pallbearers are: Calvin Lehna, Randy Lehna, Bryce Lehna, Bret Lehna, Beau Lehna and Melissa Lehna.
Elaine was born on August 9, 1937, in South St. Paul, MN, to Henry and Ruth (McClusky) Blair.
On February 1, 1958, she was united in marriage to Bernard Lehna of Crocker, SD. They resided in Royalton, MN, where they raised their three sons. In 1993, Bernard and Elaine moved to the family farm in the Crocker Hills. Bernard passed away in 1995. Elaine remained on the farm until her death.
Elaine is survived by her three sons: Calvin Lehna of Apple Valley, MN, Randy (Sue) Lehna of Duluth, MN, and Bryce (Melissa) Lehna of Bradley, SD; six grandchildren: Stephanie, Linsy, Matthew, Brooke, Bret and Beau; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; her parents, Henry and Ruth Blair; and her brother, Jim.
